Hot Pepper Plants available at Belle Vie Gardens

  • Anaheim, 74 days. Mildly hot pepper (rated at 3,200 Scovilles), growing to 24-30". Prolific producer of 6-8" slender fruits.

  • Jalapeno, 73 days. Medium hot variety (4,750 Scovilles), growing to 24-30". Thick walled, 3" fruits are typically used when green, but are also excellent ripened to red.

  • Habanero, 90-100 days. This little pepper is about as hot as they come (can reach 215,000 Scovilles). Compact 12" plants yield thin walled peppers that start out dark green and ripen to a pink/orange.

  • Serrano, 75 days. Small, flame-shaped peppers borne in abundance, 60-100 per plant. Very hot even when green & much hotter when they turn red.

  • "Inferno", 65 days. A productive hot banana hybrid. Sloping shoulders, medium green, slim tapered 8" fruit. Ripens yellow to red.

  • "Relleno" Rare, 75-80 days. Traditional, but hard to find, this large, succulent stuffing pepper is dependably mild. Broad-shouldered 5-7" fruits taper to a blunt, rounded tip.

  • "Black Hungarian" Heirloom, 70-80 days. A very attractive pepper with green foliage, highlighted by purple veins & flowers. The 3-ft plants grow 2-3" fruits that resemble jalapenos. Mildly hot with good flavor.

  • "Aci Sivri" Turkish Heirloom, OP, 75 days. Moderately hot. Exceptionally high yielding, 3-ft. plants produce peppers that average 7" length. Peppers ripen to a shiny crimson.

  • "Hot Lemon" Heirloom, 70 days. Unique citrus-hot, smokey-spicy flavor. Crinkly, yellow 3-4" fruits are extremely tasty fresh, in sauces & dried. An old South American favorite.

  • Large Hot Cherry, 80 days. Heavy crops of hot, flattened solid globes. Deep green, turning brilliant red.

  • Thai Dragon, Hybrid, 70 days. Plants grow about 26" and produce a multitude of 3.5" long narrow peppers. Will add an authentic note to your Thai cooking.

  • Thai Hot, open pollinated, 90 days. A very hot 1/2" pepper. The compact plant grows to about 8-10".

  • Greek Golden Pepperoncini, 60 days. A very classy pickling pepper. Yellow-green fruits are slightly pungent & 2.5" long. Medium sized plants produce a heavy crop.
