Summer Squash Plants available at Belle Vie Gardens

  • "Papaya Pear", 40 days. The semi-bush plant yields lots of yellow skinned fruit that are shaped like a papaya or pear. Harvest when fruit is about 3" long. Fun for kids to grow.

  • Golden Zucchini, open pollinated, 55 days. This bush plant produces bright gold, cylindrical fruits. Great for small space gardens or containers.

  • Zucchini "Gold Rush" Hybrid, 52 days. The plant is vigorous & open for easy picking of 7-8" long, beautiful, glossy golden fruit. Delicious zucchini flavor.

  • Zucchini, "Spineless Beauty", Hybrid, 43 days. No more scratches from picking among sharp spines. Great yields of medium green, tasty zucchini on open plant.

  • Zucchini "Space Miser" Hybrid, 45 days. Produces regular sized, delicious zucchini on small plants. Outstanding in small spaces--tuck it into a flowerbed or plant in a container.

  • "Kuta", Hybrid, 48 days. Buttery flavor and succulent texture. Pick it young, or let it mature and use as eggplant. Kuta is vigorous & prolific.

  • "Magda", Hybrid, 50 days. A Middle Eastern variety with light green skin & white flesh. Distinctive & nutty flavor. High yields.

  • Scalloped Patty Pan "Sunburst", 50 days. AAS Winner. Bright yellow fruit is marked in green at both ends. Mild, buttery flavor. Fruits remain firm but very tender, even at full maturity.

  • Scalloped Patty Pan "Scallopini" F1 Hybrid, 54 days. A nutty flavored green patty pan best picked at 3". Vigorous plants.

  • Zucchini “Cocozelle”, Open Pollinated, 45 days. Fruits are slim with light and dark green stripes. Pick when young to prolong harvest. Excellent flavor.
